A few weeks ago I was fortunate enough to be on assignment at one of Queensland’s sought after holiday destinations, Noosa Heads on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Whilst I was there I learnt something new about this place, and that was it abounds with natural attractions.

This trip to Sydney our aim was to do a lot of walking as we all feel that this is the best way to explore a city. We decided to undertake a 3 1/2 hour walking tour of the city and we also wanted to walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

A road trip from Sydney to the Gold Coast, being a meagre 840 kms, is easily doable in two weeks with stops along the way at some of the great seaside villages dotting the Pacific Coast.
Australia is not just about cuddly Koalas, surfing beaches and hopping Kangaroos. We have our fair share of great family vacation destinations that are packed with fun-filled activities for the young or the young-at-heart.

My latest expedition was a recommended 73km round-trip circling the imposing Mt Warning and Wollumbin National Park, which is recognised as part of the Gondwana Rainforest of Australia. The drive not only takes you through scenic countryside, quaint villages and world heritage-listed rainforests, but leads you to the remnant of a volcano – Mt Warning.
Looking back over photos of our trip around Australia and in particular South Australia it was difficult to select the highlights. There were so many!
