The name Ulladulla means “safe harbour” in aboriginal language, so this pretty much sums up the place with its picturesque harbour in the middle of the town.

A few weekends ago we had a three day getaway to the Northern Rivers fishing village of Iluka, located on the Clarence River in New South Wales. This sleepy little hamlet is popular with fisherman and holidaymakers, with three caravan parks in town and a camping ground located just out of town at Woody Head….
