Spread the love
Summer is here! My favourite season of the year when I can wear a cool little dress with sandals or just hang out in a pair of shorts and tank top. It is also holiday time for a lot of us and it is always difficult knowing what to pack for those relaxing unwinding days, where the only thing we have to think about is “when is happy hour”?
Well I am here to help you find some cool comfortable little frocks and a heap of separates to boot! Firstly here are some dresses that conjure up thoughts of blistering hot days in the sun and balmy evenings sipping a cocktail on the beach.
A couple of maxi dresses that are still fashionable this Summer and can be a good option for those of us that don’t want to bare our legs (at least until we get a suntan!)
I like these tie-waisted dresses that are easy to wear and gives emphasis to your waistline.
My personal favourite is the shift dress which is very cool and comfortable to wear and looks very smart day or night time.
A couple of dressier examples of the shift dress with a hi-lo hemline in lovely soft flowy fabrics and pastel prints. Also a couple of waisted dresses with a peplum and soft gathering from the waistline.
Here are some skirts and tops options. The cross-over asymmetrical skirt is very ‘in’ at the moment. Shell tops, hi-lo hemlines, loose fitting swing tops and long tank tops are all in fashion and can camouflage a few figure faults.
Last but not least, great looking casual shorts and tops which can be dressed up to wear out of an evening if you dare! Shorts come in variable lengths and can be rolled up to a shorter length if desired.
Some Summer sandals to complete the look.
